Chapter 226 The Five Eyes of Buddhism
How to destroy a metropolis like Tokyo?
Wearing a white baseball cap and a black shirt, Shirakawa Mei was walking on the streets of Shibuya. He found a nearby newsstand and bought a travel magazine about Tokyo, Japan, and a cup of mango milk tea.
I chose a shady roadside bench, drank a sip of mango milk tea, put the milk tea aside, crossed my legs, opened the magazine, and looked at the relevant information about the metropolis of Tokyo.
It's an interesting question to think about how to destroy the metropolis of Tokyo.
There's no way. There are too few things in this world that can attract him and make him feel interesting.
Experts on TV said: "The reason why people feel bored and empty is because they don't have a goal to strive for for a long time. Without the beacon of progress, they will naturally lose their direction and go round in circles."
"When you spend too much time idle, you will naturally develop negative emotions such as boredom and emptiness that are not beneficial to you."
“Keeping yourself busy so that you don’t have time to think about random things is an effective way to overcome boredom and emptiness.”
Although everything the experts on TV say is meant to have some political bent, so it always sounds a little stupid.
But this time, Bai Chuanming felt that what the expert said made sense.
It is because I have too much free time, so much free time that I have no goals to strive for, that my life is filled with unfillable emptiness.
So, destroy Tokyo.
Such a goal should be something you can strive for for a while.
At least, I am now lost in thought and have no time to worry about whether my heart is empty or not.
Tokyo has a population of nearly 4 million. Although the population is very dense, it would still take a lot of time to kill all 4 million pigs.
However, Baichuan Ming soon felt relieved. Slaughtering 4 million pigs was much more difficult than killing 4 million humans.
Poisoning?
The effect is limited. At most, it can kill one community, and then the toxin may be diluted. It is far from being able to kill the entire Tokyo population of nearly 4 million.
What about dropping an atomic bomb?
It seems that the conditions are not met now, and even with my own abilities, I cannot complete this step.
Human power is limited, and it is obviously difficult to destroy Tokyo.
Then it can only be a natural disaster.
earthquake?
Japan does have frequent earthquakes, but it is rare for an earthquake to shake Tokyo and cause it to collapse.
Nowadays, many shrines have enfeoffed individual gods and let these mountain gods guard the mountains and rivers. Although their power is average, when they gather together, they can suppress the earth's veins and make it difficult for Japan to have an extinction-destroying earthquake.
What about typhoons?
If the howling storm at sea is severe enough, coupled with the backflow of seawater, it theoretically has the chance to destroy Tokyo.
But, this only exists in theory.
What about the plague?
When it comes to large-scale extinction, plague is the most terrifying in human history, except for drought and floods.
Once the plague breaks out, it could be transmitted from person to person, and given Tokyo's high population density, this is indeed possible.
This seemed to be the best solution he could think of.
Baichuan Ming closed the magazine, spread his hands, leaned back in the chair, and looked at the young men and women walking on the street.
When he sees a girl passing by wearing revealing clothes, revealing a pair of long, slender and well-proportioned legs, he will whistle obscenely.
Some girls would roll their eyes at him and then speed past him, some would curse him before leaving, and a small number of girls would look him up and wink at him.
After resting for a while in this way, Baichuan Ming finished the cup of mango milk tea, left the magazine on the chair, and got up and left.
He needed to leave Tokyo for a short while and go to the deep mountains and forests to look for something.
After all, it is not an easy task to cause a major plague that will harm the entire Tokyo.
……
Baichuan Ming is missing?
At Weilian Ancient Temple, Akechi Mitsuhide asked his friends to inquire about Shirakawa Mei, and the answers he got were the same.
It is said that Shirakawa Ming has left Tokyo and his whereabouts are currently unknown.
Tsk, he said he would destroy the entire Tokyo, but now he’s running away with his tail between his legs.
As expected, it is the speech of a middle school boy.
Akechi Mitsuhide told the news to Hiramiya Chiya and monk Mingbai.
"Maybe he was scared away by me." The monk's tense expression finally relaxed.
"Can you have a good rest now?" Ruyi pulled the quilt that had slipped off for Monk Mingbai and told him to take good care of his injuries.
After leaving the monastery, Akechi Mitsuhide, who was frightened by Shirakawa Mei, continued to work hard in the fields to avoid becoming the next Shirakawa Mei whose heart was filled with emptiness.
Three days later, Hideichi Hiratani and Saburo Takeda rushed back from Shitennoji.
"How did you lose to that man?" Saburo Takeda couldn't help but ask after learning some of the situation.
"Perhaps he can no longer be called a human being."
With Ruyi's help, the monk Mingbai propped himself up and leaned his upper body against the wall. He took a breath before continuing, "He looks like a normal person on the surface, but his insides are already empty. His internal organs, blood, and flesh have all disappeared, leaving only a void."
"How can he still be alive?" Mitsuhide Akechi, who was listening, couldn't help but click his tongue.
"You should know that there has always been a saying about the five eyes in Buddhism."
Akechi Mitsuhide and others nodded. The five eyes often mentioned in Buddhism are different from the Vajra Eye practiced by Heimiya Chiye. The Vajra Eye is a practice method exclusive to Tantric Buddhism.
The five eyes of Buddhism commonly refer to: the physical eye, the heavenly eye, the wisdom eye, the Dharma eye and the Buddha eye.
The naked eye refers to the human eye, which exists because of light. Once it is completely dark, the human eye completely loses its function. It can see the day but not the night, see the outside but not the inside, and see what is near but not what is far away.
In Buddhism, it is often said that the physical eyes are false and unreal, that they are the chief of the six senses, the chief of the six thieves, and the root of ignorance.
The heavenly eye is an eye that goes beyond the scope of human eyes, meaning the eye of a god.
You can see everything from far and near, front and back, inside and outside, day and night, up and down, all without hindrance.
The wisdom eye, the eye of wisdom, can illuminate all visible and invisible, tangible and intangible things.
With this eye, one can easily understand and grasp any complex situation or matter. It is a symbol of wisdom.
Be able to see through illusions and recognize the true emptiness.
The Dharma Eye can clearly understand all worldly and transcendental Dharmas and widely practice the true meaning of the Middle Way.
This is the supreme eye for practicing many methods, which can see all dharmas at a glance.
Buddha's eyes, these are the eyes of Buddha.
"A year ago, I had already cultivated my clairvoyance and was able to see the true nature of some people and things. This is how I was able to see through the false appearance of that person and recognize his true face."
Even now, the monk Mingbai still feels a lingering fear when he thinks of the man's true appearance when he first saw him.
He had never seen a person's mind so empty, like a void with nothing in it.
The emptiness of his soul gradually gnawed at his body, eventually devouring him completely.
According to common sense, this person should have died long ago. It is impossible for him to still be alive, let alone live a normal life in the human world.
"Heavenly Eye, it's so enviable." Akechi Mitsuhide made a sour sound.
"Have you started practicing clairvoyance?" Takeda Saburo said in a serious tone.
"Is cultivating the clairvoyance a necessary step in cultivating the clairvoyance?"
"Definitely."
"Akechi, what makes you so sure?"
"Yes or no, I have a 50% chance of answering correctly, why can't I be more confident?"
"What you said really makes sense."
“A confident life never needs explanation.”
Listening to the increasingly biased conversation, the monk smiled bitterly, knowing that they still couldn't believe that someone would actually want to destroy Tokyo.
He actually didn't believe that man could destroy Tokyo.
There are so many temples and so many eminent monks in Tokyo... I am really worrying too much.
That person is indeed not an ordinary person, but Master Liansheng is not an ordinary monk either.
With Master Liansheng in charge of Tokyo, the situation is really stable.
The monk calmed down and leaned his head against the pillow. The more he thought about it, the more he felt that destroying Tokyo was not such an easy task.
No matter how you think about it, this is an impossible thing.
