Chapter 282: The Silver Hand Trilogy (Part )
Because of the traitor Balnazzar, Alessandro's repeated attacks on Lordaeron failed. Under the instigation of Balnazzar, Alessandro decided to take advantage of the military weakness of Stratholme and recapture Stratholme first.
After arriving at Stratholme, the Silver Hand's attack went very smoothly, and Alessandro led the way and reached the inner city. Just as they were about to recapture Stratholme, a huge undead army suddenly surrounded the Silver Hand.
Alessandro covered the others' retreat and fought until he was exhausted. At this time, Renault appeared beside Alessandro and said he would cover Alessandro's retreat. Alessandro thought Renault was ready to take responsibility, so he handed the Ashbringer to Renault.
However, Renault pierced Alessandro from behind. Alessandro looked back in shock and saw his son's distorted face. In anger, he detonated the Ashbringer and the Holy Light in his body, killing all the undead around him.
However, he did not kill Reno, but sent him to the edge of the undead. Reno was terrified, but seeing the undead surrounding him, he immediately stood up and ran away.
Balnazzar came over and resurrected Alessandro as a Death Knight.
The second part, "Silver Dawn", mainly tells the story of Darion sneaking into Naxxramas to take back the Ashbringer and going to the Scarlet Monastery to confront Raynor. Alessandro's shadow appeared and killed Raynor with the fallen Ashbringer. It was only then that Darion discovered that his father's soul had become a spirit of vengeance.
Darion sought a way to rest his father's soul and rushed to Light's Hope Chapel. But the priests there had no solution, so Darion saw the soul of Falbanks in his dream, who guided him to see Tirion Fording.
After Tirion Fordring was stripped of his power of the Light, he lived in seclusion by the Thandoriel River. He told Darion that only love could touch Alessandro's soul and bring him peace.
Kel'Thuzad led his army to attack Light's Hope Chapel. He wanted to seize the bodies of thousands of paladins and priests buried underground in the Chapel, turn them all into undead, and expand his military forces.
The Silver Dawn decided to defend their base camp to the death and never retreat. As they fought bloody battles, Darion and Tirion appeared and joined their team. Kel'Thuzad mocked Darion with the vengeful spirit of Alexandros. In order to prove his faith in the Holy Light and his love for his father, Darion resolutely inserted the fallen Ashbringer into his body. When the blade pierced his heart, he felt that his father's soul was finally freed.
Because of his selfless and fearless noble feat, the heroic spirits underground also responded. A huge pillar of holy light pierced through the sky and earth, angrily clearing out the undead army at the scene.
However, Kel'Thuzad escaped with Darion's body while everyone was still unaware, and he resurrected Darion as a death knight to take his father's place.
The third part, "Love and Family", tells the story of Tirion Fordring.
After Darion's death, Tyrosus found Tirion and invited him to join the Silver Dawn again. He did not fully agree to join them, saying that he would talk about it after he rescued Tyran from the corruption of the Scarlet Crusade.
After Raynor assassinated Alessandro, the Silver Hand split into the Scarlet Crusade and the Silver Dawn.
The Scarlet Crusaders are entrenched in the Scarlet Monastery. Under the instigation of Dathrohan, they become more and more radical and become an organization that fanatically wants to kill all the undead. All members are human. They are led by the Grand Crusader Dathrohan, the Grand General Abidis and the Grand Inquisitor Isilien. Tyran, who contributed to Hearthglen, becomes the Grand Lord, and Raynor, who betrayed his father, is also named the Scarlet Commander.
The Argent Dawn is also an organization whose goal is to destroy the Scourge, but it is open to all races, including members of the Alliance and the Horde, and even the Forsaken.
Soon after the Scarlet Crusade was founded, it attempted to raid the Scourge's base in Northrend, and formed a fleet for this purpose. The operation ultimately failed, although the Crusaders had advanced all the way to the heart of Icecrown. The Crusaders suffered heavy casualties and lost many senior generals, including Admiral Barry Westwyn, the supreme commander of the Scarlet Fleet, General Omar, the leader of the Stromgarde militia, and Invar, the chief assassin.
All of this was Dathrohan's conspiracy. After getting rid of these people, he could better control the Scarlet Crusade. He deceived the Scarlet Crusade and said that the surviving civilians had been infected with the Scourge and slaughtered them all.
During a battle in which the undead besieged Hearthglen, General Abidis died while trying to shield his daughter from an arrow. Afterwards, little Abidis succeeded her father as the general.
Taelan Fording was appointed by Dathrohan as the new Scarlet Commander to replace the deceased Renault Mograine. Dathrohan expressed his optimism for his future and asked him to burn the letter left by Tirion, abandon his past memories and focus on the future.
Tirion has the adventurers infiltrate Durnholde Keep, give Taelan something and tell him that his father is still alive.
Tyran was already disgusted with the increasingly corrupted Scarlet Crusade and was eager to reunite with his father, so he decided to leave. However, he and the adventurers were intercepted by Isenglin and his men, who killed the "traitor" on the spot.
Tirion, who arrived a step late, killed them all in anger. Next to his son's body, he vowed to eradicate the heresy of the Holy Light and restore the glory of the Silver Hand.
This trilogy mainly tells the stories of two families, but it actually tells the same thing, which is family education.
Alessandro paid more attention to Renault, but was too strict. This eventually led to Renault's dissatisfaction and he eventually committed patricide. On the contrary, he was tolerant of Darien, which made Darien an upright and kind person.
The comparison between Renault and Darien shows that being too harsh on children will only lead to resentment in them, while giving them enough love will be beneficial to their growth.
Tirion was abolished from the Holy Light for saving the orc Eitrigg, when Tyran was still very young. Others have always called Tirion a "traitor", and coupled with the death of his mother, Tyran had to face various situations alone before he reached adulthood. This made Tyran cowardly and indecisive, so when Dathrohan asked him to join the Scarlet Crusade, although he felt it was inappropriate, he still agreed after being persuaded by others.
If he had insisted on his own ideas, he would not have ended up dead. This shows how important a healthy family is to children.
As his son grew up, Liu Hongmin gradually began to pay attention to family education. He had experience in this regard. After all, Liu Hongjun and Liu Hongying were brought up by her, and she had accumulated enough experience for him.
