Chapter 234: Dark Gate Trilogy

Chapter 234: Dark Gate Trilogy

"Thank you for the compliment!"

Liu Hongmin smiled nonchalantly, and after hanging up the phone, he picked up a pen and started writing an outline.

The timeline of World of Warcraft is very long, but the most exciting part is still after the opening of the Dark Portal. After all, this is based on the game content, which is the part that Blizzard puts the most effort into.

However, Liu Hongmin still wanted to make some changes. After all, multi-race melee is the characteristic of World of Warcraft.

Liu Hongmin expanded the races of both camps, and added dwarves, gnomes, and high elves to the human side. They were all merchants doing business in Stormwind City, or adventurers who came to make money, or consultants hired by Stormwind Kingdom.

In terms of professions, mages and priests have been added. And there are a lot of them, unlike in the movie where there are only a few mages, which is really pitiful.

The orcs joined the ogres, goblins, and trolls. The ogres were allies brought by the orcs from the world of Draenor, while the goblins and trolls were mercenaries hired from Stranglethorn Vale.

In terms of magic professions, orcs have warlocks, ogres have mages, and trolls have priests, and they crush humans in terms of combat power.

The first part is called "Dark Portal", which is divided into five stories: the opening of the Dark Portal, the defeat of humanity, the first attack on Stormwind, the raid on Karazhan, and the second attack on Stormwind.

Dwarves, gnomes and high elves appeared when attacking Stormwind City. The dwarves formed a musketeer corps and joined the army. The gnomes helped the navy to transform warships and cavalry armor. The high elves climbed onto the top of the city and cast powerful fire magic to temporarily block the orcs' attack.

Ogres, goblins, and trolls appeared in the second attack on Stormwind. Ogres became the main force of the project. Goblin pirates attacked Stormwind from the sea. Trolls broke into Stormwind from the port, becoming important factors in the defeat of mankind.

The plot of the whole book is quite anti-human, the main perspective is on the human side, and the orcs, as the villains, win. The orcs burn, kill, rob, and commit all kinds of evil. This plot arrangement is simply feeding the readers shit.

Therefore, Liu Hongmin decided to make it a trilogy and change the first part to "The Dark Portal Opens".

The second part is named "Alliance and Horde", which is also divided into five stories: the establishment of the Alliance, the Battle of Southsea, the Thousand Mile Raid, the Defense of Lordaeron and the decisive battle of Blackrock Mountain.

Lothar brought refugees to the Kingdom of Lordaeron and started the Human Alliance. Dwarves, gnomes, and high elves joined the Alliance and sent troops to help humans fight. Under Lothar's command, the dwarves blew up the Thandor Bridge and set up a defense line in Nanhai Town. The entire Alliance mobilized 200,000 troops, thousands of mages, and hundreds of warships. In order to fight against the evil power of the orc warlocks, Archbishop Faol founded the Paladin profession.

The orcs were also strengthened. They obtained a powerful treasure, the Demon Soul, and enslaved the Red Dragon Queen, forcing the red dragons to join the battle. With the help of the red dragons, they defeated the human navy at sea and successfully landed in Nanhai Town. However, under the desperate resistance of the Alliance, they had to retreat to the wetlands.

In addition, the dwarves in Ironforge kept attacking the orcs' supply lines, forcing Warchief Orgrim to make strategic adjustments. They took a ship on the east coast of Northron and crossed the Strait of Lordaeron. They reached an agreement with the Amani trolls and raided Quel'Thalas, the home of the high elves, all the way to Silvermoon City. As a result, they were betrayed and had to withdraw. However, the Alliance's attention was also lured to Silvermoon City. Orgrim took the opportunity to lead his army to strike back, forcing the King of Alterac to surrender, and marched straight to the city of Lordaeron. Fortunately, Lothar led his army back in time to defeat the tribe.

Finally, the two sides fought a decisive battle at Blackrock Mountain. Lothar was killed, Orgrimmar was captured, and the orcs were defeated.

The third part is named "Counterattack on Draenor", which is still divided into five stories: attacking the Dark Portal, hunting down Ner'zhul, destroying the black dragon's conspiracy, attacking the Black Temple, and the destruction of Draenor.

The Alliance army pursued the defeated orc army and reached the Dark Portal. The orc shaman Ner'zhul sent people to raid Karazhan and snatched the Book of Medivh, the Scepter of Sargeras and the Eye of Dalaran from the Dalaran mage, preparing to open the Dark Portal again and find a new world to survive.

The Dalaran mages warned Turalyon, the new commander of the Alliance army, and Turalyon decided to enter the Dark Portal to retrieve the three artifacts. Because he didn't know the situation on the other side of the Dark Portal, Turalyon asked the soldiers to voluntarily choose whether to go. In the end, another 30,000 people were willing to follow Turalyon into the Dark Portal, including the high elf Alleria Windrunner, the dwarf Kurdran Wildhammer, the mage Khadgar, and the general Danath Trollbane.

When they arrived in Draenor, the Alliance discovered that this was a world polluted by fel energy and was gradually dying.

Facing the Alliance army, Ner'zhul was in no mood to fight and retreated all the way to the Black Temple. On the way of pursuit, the Alliance army was suddenly shrouded by a huge shadow, and looked up to find that it was a huge black dragon. Khadgar investigated the black dragon and finally found that the black dragon was carrying a large number of red dragon eggs, and used magic to turn these red dragon eggs into black dragon eggs. Khadgar joined forces with the local giant Gronn to attack the black dragon. In the end, Khadgar used magic to destroy the armor on the black dragon, causing magma to emerge from the black dragon's body, and had to retreat.

The Alliance army attacked the Black Temple, but was blocked by the Dark Star. After paying a heavy price, they finally eliminated the Dark Star. But Ner'zhul had completed the ritual and opened a new Dark Portal.

Khadgar destroyed the ritual, but it was too late. Because of Ner'zhul's spell error, dozens of dark portals appeared all over Draenor, tearing Draenor apart. The world was overturned, earthquakes and tsunamis continued, and everything lost its restraints. The earth was broken into pieces, and the sea water floated into the universe.

Each of the three parts is about 300,000 to 400,000 words. This is already a simplified outline. If it is less, the story will not be clear.

However, Liu Hongmin did not plan to write by hand. The trilogy has at least one million words. Even if he wrote 10,000 words a day, it would take a hundred days to finish. So Liu Hongmin thought of computers. Although computers can type now, it is very inconvenient.

So Liu Hongmin founded another computer company, hired experts from Tsinghua University and Peking University, invested tens of millions of yuan, and specialized in the research of Chinese cards and input methods.

The Chinese card is easy to make. Mr. Shi spent 4000 yuan and made a set of Chinese cards in nine months. Liu Hongmin spent tens of millions of yuan and it is certain that he can make a set of Chinese cards in one month.

As for the input method, it is more complicated. It is not that the program is complicated, but the input of Chinese characters is complicated. Because he is good at using the pinyin input method, if he wants to spell continuously, he needs a lot of word combinations. The most important thing is that some word combinations are specific to the novel. If there is no memory program, he can only continue to spell one word at a time next time, which is very troublesome.
