Chapter 65: Absurd Dream

Chapter 65 Absurd Dream

Jiang Yu had a dream.

In the dream, she stood on the edge of a cliff. The wind was howling and the sand blinded her eyes. Jiang Yu could not see clearly what was under the cliff, but she was very clear that she was in a dream.

A hand pushed her forward, and her body suddenly became lighter and was carried into the sky by the wind.

This was a nonsensical dream. The last moment she was standing on the edge of the cliff as if she was sighing about life, and the next moment she was carried up to the sky by the wind. The world was still howling with strong winds in the last moment, and the next moment it was calm and sunny again.

She looked down and saw Xuyun Mountain, where she had lived for more than 20 years. It seemed to be shrouded in a formation. Apart from the courtyard on the top of the mountain where she and her mother had lived for so many years, Jiang Yu could not see anything else. The state of the dream affected her thinking. She clearly felt that she should know what was obscured by the white fog, but no matter how hard she tried, she could not remember clearly what it was.

She blinked her eyes, which were full of confusion at the moment. In just a breath, she was suddenly very close to the top of the mountain, so close that she could clearly hear the laughter coming from the house.

Jiang Yu was stunned for a moment, and her body fell uncontrollably under the tree in front of the house. She raised her eyes slightly and saw her younger self trotting out of the house holding a windmill, and then bumped into the legs of the Demon Lord who appeared out of nowhere, and was grabbed by his armpit and lifted up, holding him in his armpit.

She saw her mother coming out with cakes, followed by a demon king holding a kite in each hand.

Her mother placed the cakes on the table, ignoring the two guests who had come from afar, and sat down to drink tea and eat snacks. She squinted her eyes in comfort and told others: "After playing with the windmill, go fly the kite. Today, she will leave it to you two. I will take a rest."

This was real, a memory hidden deep in her heart. Jiang Yu didn't know why he saw this scene, but she was smiling in the Demon Lord's arms, and she who was standing under the tree also smiled.

The strong wind blew again, and all the scenes in front of him were blown away. Jiang Yu was once again swept by the wind, and his body left the ground uncontrollably.

She saw the snow in the demon world, where the tribesmen called their friends, drank wine and admired the snow. The Demon Lord sat high on the throne, stroking his brows as he listened to his subordinates reporting on the security situation in various places. She was caught in the rain in the demon world and saw some people cheering and some people hiding. A little rabbit demon who was eager to go home accidentally fell down, and was picked up by the Demon King who came out to drink and thrown into the arms of the rabbit demon's friend.

She finally landed in the human world, which was thriving, bustling with voices, and filled with the atmosphere of the human life she had read about in books. Children played and the elders chatted, and occasionally a monk passed by and would smile at the children running by the roadside or the passers-by who greeted them in a friendly manner.

Each of the three realms has its own style.

"Do you like this world?" She heard someone ask her behind her. It seemed to be an old man, and the tone was kind and gentle.

She turned around, but the old man was gone.

"Do you like this world?" The voice sounded from behind her again. This time it was a young girl with a lively and smart voice.

“Do you like this world?”

She heard the tender voice of a child.

Jiang Yu finally sensed something. She looked up at the distant and boundless sky. It was a clear sky with occasional white clouds, but she did not see any fairies.

She closed her eyes, snorted, opened her eyes and looked straight at the sky, pouted her lips, and shouted: "Who am I?!"

The next moment, the blue sky was torn apart by someone's bare hands, and the pouring rain fell head-on.

Jiang Yu was so frightened by the sudden change that she froze in place. Cries for help and shouts were heard everywhere. She stared blankly at the two hands that tore the sky apart. She reached out to touch her rain-soaked cheek, but saw a bright red on her palm. The scene in front of her eyes became dimmer. She blinked and saw that what was falling from the sky was not the rain she thought it was, but countless drops of blood.

"what!"

She stepped back in panic, but suddenly her feet touched a couple who were huddled on the ground and shivering.

She met their frightened eyes, opened her right hand slightly, and was about to call out Su Ning, but was forcefully held down by someone.

"Such a cowardly person——" She heard a voice filled with anger, so fierce that it seemed to overturn the mountains and seas, "Do you want to love too?!"

She looked up at the sky in panic, and in the abyss, the hands that tore the sky apart suddenly attacked her.

“!” “Knock knock knock——”

Sunlight shone into the room through the half-open window. There was a crisp knock on the door. Jiang Yu, who was lying on the bed, frowned and suddenly opened his eyes.

Jiang Yu felt dizzy. She slowly turned over and lay on her side on the bed to avoid the glaring sunlight. She rubbed her head hard on the pillow, which made her slightly sober. She realized again that the terrible scene just now was also a dream.

It was clearly a dream, but her heart was still pounding like thunder and beads of cold sweat appeared on her forehead.

This dream is so strange.

It must be because of what Wen Ren Huai said that she thought too much and had this absurd and terrifying dream last night.

"Tuk-tuk-tuk-"

The knock on the door sounded again. Jiang Yu was startled and stunned for a moment. After realizing that someone was knocking on the door, he slowly breathed a sigh of relief: "Who is it?"

"Junior sister?" Sang Yang's voice came through the crack in the door, "Are you in there?"

She blinked and took a moment to relax before she sat up and wiped her forehead: "Wait for me."

She calmed herself down, went down barefoot, casually put on a coat and went to open the door.

When the door opened, everyone inside and outside was stunned.

Yuan Heng, who was standing behind Sang Yang, trembled all over. He didn't dare to glance at Jiang Yu a second time. He turned his back hurriedly and walked down two steps awkwardly.

Jiang Yu narrowed her eyes. Although she didn't expect Yuan Heng to stand outside with Sang Yang, seeing his appearance made her feel less embarrassed.

She smiled at Sang Yang, who was also a little stunned, and said, "Come in, Senior Sister."

"Ah good."

Sang Yang nodded. She glanced at Yuan Heng who was standing with his back to them. She saw that her senior brother's earlobes were red and he didn't dare to glance back at all.

She didn't know why she wanted to laugh, but thinking about the important matter, she hurriedly followed Jiang Yu into the house.

Sang Yang found a random place to sit down, watching Jiang Yu yawning and cleaning himself up, wondering: "Junior sister, didn't you get enough rest last night?"

"Yeah." Jiang Yu nodded listlessly, feeling exhausted. He paused, then shook his head slowly, "Not really. I just had a nightmare and I'm exhausted."

She fastened the belt around her waist, glanced at the energetic Sang Yang, and asked casually, "Why are you up so early?"

morning?

Sang Yang was stunned for a moment, looked at the big sun outside the window, and saw the fatigue between Jiang Yu's brows, thinking that she must be dizzy because of the nightmare.

She pursed her lips: "Actually, it's almost noon now."

"Ok?"

Jiang Yu raised his head with a confused look on his face, looked out the window, and was blinded by the dazzling sunlight at noon. "It's noon already?"
