Chapter 377: Preliminary Speculation

Chapter 377 Preliminary Speculation

Although Franka was speaking Intis, Lumian still couldn't understand what she meant or what she was saying.

He looked around and saw that the area around the burned building was still quiet and there was nothing unusual, so he spoke:

"Can you explain it?"

Franka pondered for several seconds and said:

"'Son of Heaven' is roughly equivalent to 'Emperor', and 'Taoist', well, just think of it as a powerful Beyonder.

"The whole sentence probably means that the emperor named 'Blood' destroyed hell and brought chaos, and the Taoist named 'Underworld', uh, a very powerful person, gave up his life and entered a certain river. The purpose should be to seal the emperor."

The emperor with the title of "Blood Color"... Lumian was shocked:

"'Blood Emperor'?"

He suddenly recalled the scenes he saw at the "Samaritan Woman's Fountain":

The blurred figure of the "Blood Emperor" was burning with invisible flames, his armor was stained with blood and in tatters; the dark water flow repeatedly retreated into the spring and rushed out again; the water flow combined with the light mist around it and turned into pale spring water; the afterimage of Alistair Tudor was pulled back to the depths of the spring by a strange force at the last moment, and the two sides seemed to have a fierce battle...

Based on Franka's description, Lumian had new guesses about the words "Armored Shadow" and his own experience.

He said to Franka thoughtfully:

"I suspect that the 'blood emperor' you are talking about is the afterimage of the 'blood emperor' Alistair Tudor."

"But why did the afterimage of the 'Blood Emperor' run to my hometown?" Franka did not immediately think of Alistair Tudor, but felt that Lumian's inference made sense.

The special fish-scale armor and the "Hum-Ha Technique" derived from mythology and legends made her suspect that the "Armored Shadow" came from her hometown. Now, the language basically matched, which made her even more certain.

Lumian nodded slightly and said:

"This story begins when Ms. Hela and I went to fetch the water from the Samaritan Woman's Fountain..."

"You went with Ms. Hela?" Franca muttered, but she didn't prompt Lumian to answer, and just listened to him continue his description.

Lumian briefly recounted the details of what he had seen and experienced at the Samaritan Woman's Fountain, without giving Franca a chance to think further, and directly stated his own guess:

"I suspect that in the 'Four Emperors' War, the 'Blood Emperor' did not die completely, and retained some of his soul for some special reasons. During that war between gods, a channel was created between our world and the world where your hometown is, allowing a mysterious river from your hometown to seep in, and was sealed by Mr. 'Fool', creating the 'Samaritan Woman's Fountain'.

"That river should be closely related to death, the underworld, and other fields. The afterimage of the dead Blood Emperor was swept into it, traveling back and forth between your hometown and the Samaritan Woman's Fountain, and even Trier in the Fourth Epoch.

"The Blood Emperor still has a certain instinct to resurrect, and the first step to resurrect is to break free from the confinement of the river. During this process, He brought turmoil to the hell of your hometown. The powerful Extraordinary Being from the realm of death and the underworld had to sacrifice himself and sink into the mysterious river in order to fully exert its power and completely seal the afterimage of the Blood Emperor."

Franca was confused and sober at times. When Lumian finished speaking, she said in surprise and doubt:

"Your guess seems quite true and very logical..."

That explains very well the words of the "Armored Shadow" and the various phenomena in the "Fountain of the Samaritan Woman".

Franca was silent for a while and then said:

"In my hometown, the mysterious and illusory river should be called 'Yellow Spring'.

"But before I traveled through time, the Yellow Spring and the Underworld were both illusory legends that no one could verify. There were no myths about the Blood Son of Heaven or the Underworld Man left...

"Is it because I am ordinary and cannot be reached?"

Lumian smiled:

"Before I discovered that Aurore was a 'wizard', there was no such thing as supernatural powers or demons or ghosts."

Franka said "hmm" and became increasingly excited:

"Now that there is a passage between the two worlds, returning to our hometown is no longer an illusory dream!"

"Ms. Hela said that anyone who touches that pale spring water will die," Lumian reminded "kindly."

Franka's expression froze for a few seconds and said:

"That is only for us now. Maybe once we have divinity and become a saint, we will be able to touch it."

"The figures of angels and true gods are imprisoned in the spring." Lumian reminded again.

"..." Franka rolled her eyes at Lumian, "Are you annoying? Compared to before when I had no idea, no direction, and no hope, now at least there is a glimmer of hope. I know where to strive for. One of the reasons why Ms. Hela went to get the Samaritan Woman's Fountain might be to confirm the situation of the illusory river and see if it is the Yellow Spring. As expected of Ms. Hela, she found the clue faster than any of us!"

Lumian shrugged his shoulders imperceptibly, not trying to dampen Franca's high spirits and enthusiasm.

Franka walked back and forth excitedly, and suddenly asked a question:

"You were just asking where the 'Armored Shadow' came from and why it was talking about the 'Blood Emperor' and the 'Underworld Man'?"

This is not the answer to the question!

Is there any secret hidden?

Lumian thought for a moment and said:

"It is a ghost that was created after death. Some of its abilities are obviously in the realm of death... It also has the urge to break free from its restraints... Combining these points, I think it is a ghost-like creature sealed by the 'Underworld Man'. When asking where it came from, it is inevitable to ask about the 'Underworld Man's' current state, so I gave the answer just now."

Franka suddenly realized:

"That makes sense!

"Its golden body was broken and sealed by the 'Underworld Man', so it needs to collect gold to rebuild the golden body and get rid of the imprisonment?"

Seeing that Lumian was confused again, Franka briefly explained the definition of the golden body and her own understanding of it.

“I see.” Lumian nodded slowly. “Perhaps we can continue to trade gold with Armored Shadow in the future, but we can’t really restore it to its original state. This guy is very dangerous and has strong malice. Once he breaks free from the seal, who knows what he will do.”

Franka agrees:

"We have to wait until we are promoted to Sequence 4 before considering this matter."

Lumian said, “Yo!”

"Didn't you say that it is very difficult to gain divinity and become a saint? Are you so confident now?"

"Isn't it that we have found our goal and are full of motivation? Let's fantasize a little bit?" Franca glanced at Lumian. "Fuck, are we playing the other's script?"

She remembered that she had just said not long ago that Lumian thought it was too easy to open the gate of divinity and jump to another path.

Lumian chuckled and said:

"It's a good thing to have a goal and motivation to strive for. Um, the Curly-Haired Baboon Research Society will have a gathering next week. Should we inform others about the Armored Shadow, Blood Emperor, Underworld Man, and Yellow Spring?"

"I would have done this before, but I would have charged everyone a fee. But now, I dare not share it until I figure out the April Fool's Day issue." Franka said thoughtfully, "But you can ask the illusory river of death to see if anyone has the corresponding information."

Lumian thought for a moment and said:

"I'll ask."

Franca was stunned for two seconds, then she understood the reason:

Lumian went to the "Samaritan Woman's Fountain" with Ms. "Hela". It was more reasonable for this companion who was disguised as a "Muggle" to ask about the relevant situation. It had a cause and a thought, and was completely logical.

You know, at Hela's place, Lumian and the Hidden Blade don't know each other yet. If Franka rashly mentions the River of Death, she will definitely be suspected.

…………

On Monday, Franca once again went to the Red House Café in Chaillot.

Unlike before, although she still used "lies" to transform herself into someone with black hair and brown eyes, her clothes were more casual, with a shirt and trousers paired with boots.

This is to make the "witch" think that she is a witch transformed from a man, so that she will not attack directly at the first opportunity without any communication.

Unfortunately, the "witch" with long orange-red hair did not show up all morning. However, two female customers took different opportunities to chat with Franca and they had a very pleasant conversation.

Franka drank coffee and dealt with these people, not in a hurry at all.

She was wondering why Lumian was not in a hurry, but instead told her to take it slow. She knew that if she didn't eliminate those core members of the "Society of the Bliss" who were close to Susanna Mathis as soon as possible, she would always be in the shadow of the "School of the Rose".

…………

Lumian had already reported to Ms. Magician about the "Society of Bliss", "Rose School" and the Women's Joy Party at the Red House Cafe, and the response he received was simple:

"Don't leave Trier in the near future and there will be no big problems."

Lumian lit the letter, left Nightingale Street, and walked towards Market Avenue.

As he approached the Breeze Ballroom, he saw a familiar figure.

The man had dark brown eyes, a high nose bridge, a flaxen beard that covered his chin, and wore a robe similar to that of an ancient wizard. He was none other than Osta Trull, the "secret praying man" who had led Lumian to join Mr. K's mysticism gathering.

"My cabbage." Lumian asked with a smile, "What are you doing here?"

Osta Trull replied in a rather magnetic voice:

"Go to Baron Brinell to clear the debt."

“Rich now?” Lumian raised an eyebrow.

Osta Trull smiled slightly and said:

"Yes, I just found out that some of the honorific names in the potion's built-in knowledge can be prayed for without any danger. This has been a great help to me."

Lumian was stunned for a moment, then he raised his right hand with a dark look and tapped his chest four times in the order of up, down, left and right.

Osta responded with the same gesture, smiling more cordially.

Lumian didn't say any more pleasantries, just waved his hand and walked past the "secret praying man".

He silently arrived at the white spherical statue made of skulls outside the Breeze Ballroom and sighed softly.

At nine o'clock in the evening, Lumian, who had already returned to Room 207 of the Golden Rooster Hotel and was waiting, finally saw the skull head made of pure silver with pale flames burning in its eye sockets delivering a letter.

The letter came from "Hela" and the content was quite brief:

“There will be a party in an hour.

"If you wish to participate, please recite the following spell silently within five minutes before or after ten o'clock."
