Chapter 424: Victoria, Blood Elf

In the vast forest, the moonlight shines through the treetops and falls on the scorched earth.

On the ground, countless bodies were lying in disorder.

Their faces were distorted, as if they had experienced unspeakable pain before death.

The air was filled with a sickening smell of blood and burning.

However, on this dead and scorched earth, there is an ancient tree rising from the ground. Its branches are thick and twisted, as if it is fighting against the heaven and earth.

The treetops spread out like a giant umbrella, covering the night sky.

The leaves are shining like stars, adding a touch of mystery to the dark forest.

On the largest leaf in the middle of the tree stood a beautiful elf with white hair and red eyes.

She was wearing a white long dress, the hem of which fluttered in the wind, like a fairy descending to earth.

Her face was cool and beautiful, and her eyes revealed firmness and determination.

Opposite her stood another elf.

His skin was a strange blood red, and his eyes were gleaming with bloodthirsty light.

He stood proudly in the air, his blood boiling, as if even the sky and earth had changed color.

"I never thought that the little fellow from that day would grow to this point."

The blood elf Xi Ke looked at Victoria opposite him with a hint of surprise in his tone.

“It’s just that I’ve had a lot more experience.”

Victoria lowered her eyes, a hint of sadness flashing across them, but it was quickly replaced by determination.

She raised her head, looked directly into Xi Ke's eyes, and spoke slowly:

“I’ve grown up”

Upon hearing this, Xi Ke narrowed his eyes slightly, revealing a dangerous aura.

His gaze shifted from Victoria to the ancient trees behind her.

There, stood a human woman, her eyes full of fear and helplessness.

Not far from the woman, there was a trembling goblin.

"So, you're going to stop me?"

Xi Ke retracted his gaze and looked at Victoria again with a cold tone.

Victoria didn't answer, but she proved her determination with her actions.

She stood up, protecting the human woman and the goblin behind her.

"You have already killed the others, but they are innocent."

Xi Ke looked at Victoria in front of him, with a hint of anger in his eyes.

"innocent?"

A sneer appeared on Xike's lips, and the blood in his body seemed to be drawn by his laughter and began to surge slowly.

"What is innocence? Tell me, what is truly innocent in this world?"

His voice gradually became louder, with an indescribable sadness and anger:

"In ancient times, we, the elves, lived in the forest, without conflict with the world, and led a peaceful life."

“We love nature and respect life”

"But so what?"

"What did we get in return?!"

There was anger flashing in Xi Ke's eyes, and his voice became hoarse and low:

"Various tribes plundered us because of our natural beauty."

"They took our people away and made them their slaves, and they became their playthings."

"They manipulate our bodies at will and treat our lives as worthless."

"We were innocent then, weren't we? But who cared about our innocence?"

Xike's emotions became more and more agitated, and the blood in his body began to surge out of control, as if it was about to break free from his restraints.

"Since then, I know what innocent bullshit is!"

Xi Ke roared, his voice echoing in the empty forest.

"In this world, there is only one kind of person who can speak of innocence, and that is the strong! Only the strong can protect their people and their homes!"

"If the Elf King hadn't forbidden it!"

"We have already died, in the process of destroying his race!"

"Destroy those tribes that enslaved and trafficked us in the past and make them no longer exist in this world."

"This is the only obsession for us blood elves to survive in this world!"

"Uncle Xi Ke"

Victoria called softly, and Xi Ke sighed in response.

"Forget it. Have you lived too long and become talkative?"

Xi Ke's anger subsided a little. He turned his head and looked at Victoria, with a soft light in his eyes.

"If it were me before, I wouldn't have told you so much." He paused and continued:

"Well, I want to kill them now, then knock you out and take you back. This is my responsibility as your uncle."

"No, Uncle Xi Ke, I won't go back."

Victoria shook her head firmly, her tone revealing an unquestionable determination:

“I’ve grown up and have things I want to do.”

"Ah"

Xi Ke looked at Victoria, sneered, and said:

"You are so arrogant! Do you think you can challenge me just because you are strong enough?"

boom!

As soon as Xi Ke finished speaking, a powerful aura burst out from him, as if to cover the entire forest with his majesty.

Even when facing the otherworldly Xi Ke, Victoria did not waver at all.

As he raised his hand, countless vines rose from the ground and quickly wrapped around Xike, making it impossible to get through.

"Sculpture Skills"

A mocking look appeared on Xike's face. He stretched out one hand, clenched his fist, and smashed it out fiercely.

There was a "boom".

Countless vines turned into ashes and dissipated, while Xi Ke approached Victoria without stopping.

Seeing this, Victoria waved her right hand.

Countless silver-white, slender spikes condensed out of thin air and spun towards Xike's chest.

But the moment they came into contact with Xike, they all turned into ashes and disappeared.

"useless!"

boom!

Xi Ke threw a punch, hitting Victoria's chest and abdomen.

Then, go through.

"Oh"

Xi Ke raised his eyebrows, looked at the gradually disappearing image of Victoria, turned back to look at Victoria and smiled.

"not bad"

"Elf Form 76, Full Reaction Amplitude Form"

After she finished speaking, Victoria raised her eyes and her body emitted a faint blue light.

The speed was greatly increased, and he avoided the attack from Xiko.

"I didn't expect you to be able to master the top 100 spirit spells."

There was a hint of surprise in Xike's eyes.

"but"

brush!

His speed soared again.

“It’s still too slow.”

boom!

A heavy punch hit Victoria's abdomen hard.

Xi Ke frowned.

The touch doesn't feel right.

The next moment, as if fulfilled, Victoria, who was pierced, lost her color and turned into wood.

"The 99th Art of the Spirit, Substitute Puppet"

Xi Ke was stunned for a moment, seeming to find it interesting.

"If I have time, I will play with you"

He looked up and behind him.

At this moment, from some unknown time, countless diamond-shaped ice mirrors appeared floating in the air.

On it, Victoria is reflected.

Her lips moved slightly, as if she was chanting something.

"But, I'm not free now!"

The moment he finished speaking, Xike's blood surged again.

He suddenly raised his head, his eyes sharp like an eagle.

"Elf No. 978 - Storm Blade"

As Xike spoke, a strong wind suddenly blew between heaven and earth.

"Wow"!

The wind swept away the remaining clouds, sweeping all directions. (End of this chapter)
