Chapter 39: A fruitful harvest

Jiang Mo released Larvitar from its Ultra Ball. As soon as the little guy appeared, it swayed weakly.

Jiang Mo quickly pulled out a Mago Berry from his backpack and offered it to Larvitar. Larvitar tilted its head, looked at Jiang Mo with a hint of confusion, but still opened its mouth and ate the Mago Berry.

Amazingly, after eating the Mago Berry, the paralysis effect on its body instantly dissipated by more than half, and its spirits were noticeably much better.

With the game panel, Jiang Mo had basically achieved freedom with high-grade Tree Fruits; he had stocked up on many Mago Berries that could resolve abnormal statuses.

Jiang Mo looked at Larvitar, took a deep breath, slowly extended his hand, and the soft glow unique to Tokiwa Power emanated from his palm, gently covering Larvitar's body.

The Tokiwa Power slowly permeated Larvitar’s body, beginning to repair its damaged essence.

Larvitar's body also emitted a faint glow, and its previously listless aura gradually became steady and strong, indicating that the repair effect was very significant.

The Mountain God Tyranitar, witnessing this, was filled with joy.

It lowered its head and rubbed Larvitar with its huge head, gently instructing, “Child, from now on, you will follow this Trainer, train well, and obey his commands. I believe that with his Helping Hand, you will surely recover your former vitality, and even become stronger.”

Larvitar looked up and cried out “Yoji Yoji” a few times, as if responding to its mother.

Jiang Mo was deeply moved by this scene.

After Larvitar's condition stabilized, Jiang Mo crouched down, looked into Larvitar's eyes, and said, “Larvitar, from now on, we are partners. Trust me, I will definitely make you stronger, even surpassing your mother!”

Larvitar gazed at Jiang Mo, its eyes showing more closeness and trust. It could genuinely feel the human’s determination, without any falsehood or perfunctoriness.

“tokiwa child, thank you for your Helping Hand. I can feel my child’s essence slowly recovering,” Tyranitar’s deep voice resonated.

Jiang Mo wiped the sweat from his forehead and smiled slightly, “This is what I should do. Since I promised you, I will naturally do my best.”

Seeing that Larvitar’s condition had improved, Jiang Mo prepared to descend the mountain.

He recalled Pikachu and Haunter, and along with them and Larvitar, he embarked on the path down the mountain.

Before they left, Tyranitar suddenly stepped forward, holding a Tyranitar Mega ite and a Mega Key Stone in its huge claws, offering them to Jiang Mo.

Jiang Mo was startled, looking at the two stones with some surprise.

A trace of reminiscence flashed in Tyranitar’s eyes as it slowly said, “These were left from when I battled alongside my Trainer, Lin Fan. Now I give them to you, hoping that you and my child can reach the pinnacle in this Pokémon world and restore the glory of the past.”

Jiang Mo was filled with gratitude. He solemnly accepted the two stones and said, “Lord Mountain God, rest assured, I will.”

Bidding farewell to Tyranitar, Jiang Mo and his group slowly descended the mountain.

This trip to the Evergreen Secret Realm was quite fruitful for Jiang Mo, filling his heart with joy and satisfaction.

Not only did he successfully capture Larvitar, a Pseudo-Legendary with unlimited potential, but he also unexpectedly obtained a precious Key Stone and two Mega ites. These results far exceeded his initial expectations.

As soon as he reached the foot of the mountain, he saw Gengar's familiar figure; it seemed to have been waiting there for a long time.

“Geng Gui Clan Leader!” Jiang Mo called out.

Gengar floated over, sizing up Jiang Mo and his Pokémon. Upon seeing Larvitar and Gastly, who had evolved into Haunter, its originally playful eyes instantly widened in astonishment, its mouth agape.

“Well, well, you kid, you actually captured the Child of the Mountain God, and Gastly even evolved! I truly didn’t misjudge you!”

“This is great! My disciple and the Mountain God’s child are now companions, and future comrades. Doesn’t that mean I’m indirectly on the same generation as the Mountain God? Hehe.”

Gengar thought to himself, an unconsciously smug and peculiar smile appearing on its face.

Jiang Mo looked at Gengar’s expression and shook his head helplessly.

Gengar floated beside Jiang Mo, escorting him slowly out of the depths of the Evergreen Secret Realm.

All the way, Gengar kept muttering to itself, looking very excited, which left Jiang Mo puzzled.

After exiting the depths of the Secret Realm, Jiang Mo followed the path from his memory and soon arrived at a familiar place.

The former Beedrill hive was now in ruins.

The area where the Beedrill hive once stood was now a mess.

Jiang Mo looked up, startled. The Beedrill hive on the giant tree was already shattered beyond recognition, broken branches and fallen leaves scattered everywhere, and there were many huge claw marks on the tree trunk.

The corpses of Weedle, Kakuna, and Beedrill lay strewn about, and the scent of blood permeated the air, clearly indicating that a thrilling and fierce battle had taken place here.

His gaze was suddenly drawn to the fragments of honeycomb on the ground that were still dripping Misty Honey. His eyes lit up, and he quickly went to collect them.

This Misty Honey was a rare treasure, greatly aiding the growth of Bug-type Pokémon. On the outside market, it was sold by the gram, incredibly precious, and could not be wasted.

After a period of busy work, Jiang Mo also felt a bit tired, so he found a flat spot nearby to rest temporarily.

He released Pikachu, Haunter, and Larvitar, and took out some energy cubes to share with them.

Pikachu excitedly jumped over, grabbed an energy cube and started eating, occasionally letting out “Pika Pika” cries, seemingly sharing its joy.

Haunter floated around in the air, playing for a while before slowly enjoying its food.

Larvitar curiously looked at its surroundings, but under Jiang Mo’s soothing, it also began to eat the food in front of it.

“Don’t rush, don’t rush, there’s enough for everyone. Try eating it with this Misty Honey, it’s good stuff,” Jiang Mo said with a smile.

Jiang Mo sat to the side, looking at his Pokémon, filled with emotion.

His thoughts involuntarily drifted back to the scene where he and Mu Qingxue were attacked by Beedrill and got separated here, and a sense of worry arose.

“I wonder how Qingxue is doing now. I hope she’s safe,” Jiang Mo murmured to himself.

Just as Jiang Mo was lost in thought, a Rattata suddenly darted out from the nearby woods.

Its movements were as swift as lightning, instantly snatching an energy cube from Pikachu’s hand.

“Pika Pika!”

Pikachu was first stunned, clearly surprised by the sudden turn of events, then its small face flushed crimson, becoming very angry, with electricity constantly flickering on its cheeks, crackling loudly.

Oh, you dare to steal from this Lord Pikachu, you little mouse! You must be tired of living!

“Wait… wait a minute! Pikachu, don’t attack!” Just as Pikachu was about to teach this impolite little mouse a good lesson, Jiang Mo quickly spoke up to stop it.
