Ye Wangchuan walked over the moment he met her gaze, naturally taking the bag from her. “I waited too long for you. My cell phone ran out of battery, so I didn’t send you a message.”

“I rushed over when I landed at four in the afternoon. I thought you would finish at six, so I waited outside… Who knew you would only come out now?”

Ye Wangchuan suddenly lowered his head. His breathing was close to hers, and his long eyelashes seemed to sweep across her face. They flickered. “Aren’t you still angry with me? I’m here to apologize to you. Of course, I’ll have to be sincere.”
