Chapter 142: Reunion with Fleur and Gabrielle
Peeking through the curtains at the bright light outside, Penelope nudged Ethan, who was still asleep beside her.
"Get up, the car's stopped. We should be in the Alps."
"Leave me alone!"
Ethan simply pulled her into his arms, pulling the covers over them to continue sleeping.
Seeing this, Penelope gave up on trying to wake Ethan and simply snuggled into his arms, resting peacefully.
Ethan had been the busiest these past two days; they couldn't help much after their magic was depleted.
From capturing trolls to inscribing alchemical arrays, he did it all alone. He hadn't slept at all the night before, either hammering trolls or on the road to hammer trolls. They only occasionally helped by driving around looking for trolls.
He had also toiled away for most of last night. If she hadn't been unable to take it anymore, Ethan probably would have continued.
Inside the car's small dining area, Cassandra exuded a gloomy, dark aura, staring blankly out the window, lost in thought.
Nagini, who had finished making breakfast, sat in a chair and said to Cassandra helplessly, "If you can't stand it, just go drag them out."
She had been like this since early in the morning, making everyone uncomfortable.
"Should I go then?"
Cassandra snapped out of her daze.
Although she had forgiven Ethan, and Penelope had given her a lot of knowledge, allowing her to leave Hermione far behind as soon as she came of age, that wasn't a reason for Penelope to flaunt in her face.
Early in the morning, after waking up and not seeing Penelope, Cassandra felt that something was wrong. She went to her room, but there wasn't a trace of her; the bed didn't look like anyone had slept in it the night before.
With this series of events, Cassandra knew exactly what she had gone to do.
And then she became the way she was just now.
"Go!"
Nagini waved her hand, letting them make a fuss as they pleased.
Maybe she could find a chance to sneak in.
After receiving Nagini's support, Cassandra strode forward and went straight to Ethan's door.
Bang!
Bang!
"Penelope, I know you're in there, open the door for me!"
Such a commotion naturally woke up the two people sleeping inside.
Penelope had fallen asleep again while being held in Ethan's arms, after all, she had put in a lot of effort as a female knight last night.
"How about I go out first, and you keep sleeping?"
Penelope lifted the blanket, stood up, and stretched. Now that Cassandra had come, she wouldn't give up if she didn't go out.
Facing the sunlight filtering through the gauzy curtains, Penelope's perfect curves were exposed to Ethan's eyes. In that instant, he had the urge to fight another round. Did it matter what she said?
"Wait a minute, we can't continue. Cassandra is knocking outside."
Turning her head, Penelope noticed that Ethan's eyes were a little off, and quickly took two steps back.
It's still a bit swollen, the next round will have to wait at least two days.
"Alright, you go out first, I'll come out later."
Ethan, feeling a little regretful, glanced at Penelope, who was fully displaying her beauty, and could only agree to her request.
Should he make some potions to help with recovery in that area later? Otherwise, he wouldn't be able to fully enjoy himself!
Or maybe giving them blood replenishing potions could also be put on the agenda.
Even without Ethan's bloodline sublimation achievement reward, just drinking the blood of magic could improve physical fitness and greatly increase recovery speed.
This improvement wasn't just in magic recovery, but also in stamina.
Otherwise, it would be impossible for Ethan to continuously create Philosopher's Stones for more than thirty-six hours. This required a great deal of mental strength, physical strength, and magic.
"Penelope, open the door quickly, don't make me blast it open!"
"Coming, coming!"
Penelope shouted towards the door while getting dressed.
"I'll be waiting for you outside."
"Got it!"
Penelope also sped up, she couldn't tease Cassandra anymore, and Ethan's eyes were becoming increasingly dangerous.
Looking down at his still fiery brother, Ethan sighed.
… …
After finishing breakfast, Ethan put away the twelve Philosopher's Stones.
The largest three were only the size of the one he embedded in Nagini's wand yesterday.
The smaller ones were only the size of soybeans.
Each of these represented a troll tribe.
He didn't know how happy the Magical Creature Protection Department would be when they discovered the situation, after all, Ethan had eliminated so many potential threats for them.
"You sent a message to those two Veela mixes?"
Cassandra came to Ethan's face, her expression still quite displeased.
"What Veela mixes? They have names, Fleur and Gabrielle."
Ethan's tone became a bit serious. Half-bloods were the most sensitive about others calling them that, as it carried a sense of insult.
"I got it, I won't say it then."
Cassandra pouted, feeling a bit annoyed.
Ethan could only use the method he had used to coax her a few days ago, grabbing Cassandra's hand and pulling her into his arms, then kissing her.
Tsk! Tsk!
"What a scumbag!"
Penelope, sitting aside, shook her head and teased the kissing couple in front of her.
One was usually full of arrogance, but could be settled with a kiss.
The other was even worse, getting up from her and kissing someone else in front of her less than an hour later, the scumbag of scumbags.
After about two and a half minutes, the two separated. Cassandra, her face flushed, wiped the waterline from the corner of her mouth and leaned against Ethan's chest, panting.
She was as docile as a kitten.
So, as long as you find the right method, dealing with her is extremely simple.
However, it's still too early to truly eat this piece of meat. Fleur will be ready next year, and Nagini can be had at any time.
[Fleur Delacour: Gabrielle and I have already packed our luggage and are ready to leave at any time.]
[Ethan Ieadrien: Coming soon!]
After Ethan replied to Fleur, he placed Cassandra on the seat beside him and went to the driver's seat in front.
The Delacour family's manor was in the Alps, only two hundred kilometers away from Ethan, and he could reach it in just over ten minutes.
Originally, Ethan had planned to send them a Portkey, allowing them to travel back and forth. They could use the Delacour family's Portkey for the return trip. Ethan believed that they wouldn't lack one.
This was the promise Ethan made to Fleur and Gabrielle when they parted during the summer vacation last year.
However, Ethan had only made one Portkey, which he used when returning from King's Cross Station. It was later taken away by Belinda, who came to visit a few days ago, and placed in Cassandra's hands.
The second one was still under construction and would take a few more days to complete. Portkeys weren't that easy to make.
Instead of waiting for it to be made and then mailing it over, it would be better to drive over and pick them up directly. Anyway, after a sleep, he would be from Scandinavia to the French Alps, which wouldn't delay anything...
And from the Alps to Godric's Hollow, with the speed of this McLaren F1 that Ethan had modified, it wouldn't even take an hour, which was quite convenient.
After continuous expansion, the interior space of the car now had seven rooms, as well as a kitchen, workbench, and lounge. Apart from the lack of a place to practice spells, other places were no different from being at home.
A little over ten minutes later, Ethan successfully arrived at the gate of the Delacour Manor.
The trio of silver-haired mature woman, young girl, and loli were already waiting at the gate.
"Brother, you're finally here!"
Gabrielle broke free from her mother's hand and rushed over the moment Ethan got out of the car.
Ethan also opened his arms and hugged the little loli, "The Portkey hasn't been made yet, so I can only come and pick you up in person."
"Mrs. Apolline, long time no see!"
Ethan greeted them as he held Gabrielle in his arms.
"It has indeed been a long time. Gabrielle has been talking about you at home every day. I don't know how you managed to abduct my daughter after only meeting a few times."
Apolline Delacour covered her mouth and chuckled at Ethan.
"Maybe I'm just charming!"
"Indeed, very charming!"
Apolline nodded affirmatively. She didn't even know who actually had Veela blood.
Not only her two daughters, but even she felt very close to him when she saw him.
While Ethan was chatting with Apolline, the little loli Gabrielle, who was being held by Ethan, showed her sister a provocative smile where the two couldn't see.
Look, brother is holding me now, and you haven't even said a word to him.
Fleur gnashed her teeth as she watched. If the occasion wasn't right, she would definitely pick her up, pinch her cheeks hard, and spank her bottom.
"I'm entrusting my two daughters to you, you must protect them well."
Finally, Apolline glanced at Gabrielle, who was still clinging to Ethan and hadn't come down, and Fleur, whose soul was no longer here, and said somewhat helplessly.
"Don't worry, I will definitely protect their safety."
Ethan immediately made a guarantee.
The current British wizarding world was still relatively safe. Voldemort hadn't been resurrected, and the pure-blood families had a good relationship with him, so they wouldn't come to provoke him. He couldn't think of any risks.
"Goodbye, Mom!" × 2
Fleur and Gabrielle also said goodbye to their mother before joining Ethan in the car.
As soon as they entered the lounge, the eyes of Cassandra and the other two immediately fell on Fleur. This half-Veela was indeed a formidable enemy.
Looking at Gabrielle, who was like a smaller version of Fleur, they immediately raised the threat level of these two sisters by another level.
Seeing the atmosphere was a bit awkward, Ethan could only introduce them.
Fortunately, both sides already knew of each other's existence, and nothing happened.
"Brother, when I grow up, you can dump them all. At that time, my age will be just right, and they will all be old women."
Gabrielle whispered in Ethan's ear as she leaned on his shoulder.
Ethan looked at Gabrielle in disbelief and moved her to the other side. If they heard these words, Gabrielle would have a hard time later.
Even Fleur wouldn't help her then.
No woman can remain indifferent after being called an old woman.
"Who taught you this?"
"Mom learned it from the books she reads."
What kind of books is your mother reading at home!.
Chapter 143: The Father's Bone and the Resurrection Stone
After resting overnight, Ethan greeted Cassandra and the others the next day at noon and went out.
The brewing time for the Resurrection Potion was seven days. The previous steps had already been completed, but these were all auxiliary ingredients.
Only by adding the main ingredients at the final critical moment could the resurrection effect be achieved, which was tonight.
