Chapter 11: The Banishing Spell, Headmaster Dumbledore doesn't know how to cheat
When Charles was admiring Minister Fudge's wisdom, bravery and charity, Dumbledore looked at Charles's seemingly bottomless appetite, and after being dumbfounded, he also showed an expression of laughter.
"Generally speaking, Hogwarts will consider many aspects when deciding which house a child is suitable for."
“Sometimes, the results of the division are often unexpected.”
"But seeing you, Ciel, I can conclude that no house is more suitable for you than Hufflepuff."
"I think our Minister Fudge must be bleeding right now."
As he spoke, Dumbledore took out a thick envelope and handed it to Ciel.
On the envelope was the emblem of a lion, eagle, snake and badger. These were the Hogwarts admission notices that had haunted countless children who had read Harry Potter in Ciel's previous life.
"Although it's a little late and this isn't a very suitable place, let's open it and take a look."
Dumbledore blinked.
Charles also opened the envelope. Inside was a classic passage that he could recite by heart, as well as a long list of items to be purchased.
Ciel watched it intently, while Dumbledore waited patiently by the side, with a smile of joy on his face as he saw that new students were about to enroll.
But even Dumbledore probably couldn't have imagined what Charles was thinking at this moment.
"It's 1991 now. I remember that in the original book, Harry Potter entered school this year."
"That means Harry Potter and I are in the same class."
"Tsk, there will be more fun in the future."
Ciel had no interest in getting involved in the original plot and personally experiencing the house games arranged by Dumbledore.
But he still has some ideas about some of the things that appear in the plot.
For example, the Philosopher's Stone will appear in Hogwarts this year. This is an alchemical item that is famous in the history of the wizarding world. The magic power contained in it is enough to create the elixir of immortality.
If I could eat the Philosopher's Stone, how many deduction points would that give me?
In addition, there are also many appetizers before the level of obtaining the Philosopher's Stone.
The three-headed dog of hell is an extremely rare magical animal.
If you roll dog meat three times, even gods can’t stand still. It must be delicious, right?
There is also the Devil's Snare. When I watched the original movie, I felt that this thing looked a bit like spicy strips. It would be nice to dip it in chili powder.
The potions that Snape, the master of potions, put his best effort into preparing must be able to provide a lot of deduction points.
In the years that followed, there were Dementors, dragons, and the like.
There are so many giant octopus spiders in the forbidden forest. If we raise them properly, we can’t eat them all. We simply can’t eat them all!
Not to mention the thousand-year-old basilisk hidden in the Chamber of Secrets, and the Ravenclaw Diadem in the Room of Requirement...
Just thinking about it makes Charles go crazy!
Even though his total number of deduction points has now reached 100,000, it is still a drop in the bucket in Charles' opinion and is not enough.
There are so many spells in the wizarding world. If I want to become more comprehensive, I must at least master seven or eight of them, right?
Even for low-level spells like the Luminescent Spell, to deduce it to a level with powerful power, it would require at least millions of deduction points.
Not to mention that more advanced spells consume deduction points at a geometric rate. It's a bottomless pit and no matter how many deduction points you have, it's not enough.
Ciel couldn't wait to go to Hogwarts and feast on food!
But before feasting on the food, Charles felt that he should first ensure his own safety.
Don’t let others not eat your food and end up eating it as spicy noodles instead, that would be funny.
To do this, stronger strength is needed!
If Charles wants to become stronger, the easiest way is to obtain another spell to deduce.
Speaking of spells, is there any wizard who knows more spells than Dumbledore?
Thoughts flashed through his mind, and Charles put down the admission letter in his hand and sighed.
"Principal Dumbledore, according to what you said, this letter should have been delivered on my eleventh birthday. It was most likely delivered by owl, right?"
"What a shame, I didn't see that sight."
"It seems that there is no way to receive owl mail in Dake's basement."
Ciel shook his head with a look of regret on his face. Dumbledore's heart tightened, and the guilt in his eyes was evident.
He almost forgot that the child in front of him had spent his eleventh birthday in a dark basement, under the abuse and terror of a vicious dark wizard.
What a shadow this is!
Dumbledore said this with a loving look.
"I'm so sorry, Ciel, to have missed such an important moment."
"But I thought maybe I could make it up to you on your birthday."
"I can give you a gift. Is there anything you would like? I swear on the name of Albus Dumbledore that I will find it for you if it is in my power."
Charles said with a firm look.
"Headmaster, then I want you to teach me a spell."
"A spell that can drive away darkness and protect yourself and those around you."
"I don't want this to happen again. Next time, if I face this kind of thing again, I want to have the ability to stop it."
Hearing what Charles said, Dumbledore's eyes lit up and were full of admiration.
He originally thought that Charles would ask him for some strange stuff, but he didn't expect that Charles wanted a spell, and his motive was to protect himself and others and prevent such a thing from happening again.
This made Dumbledore feel that perhaps his judgment of Charles just now was a little hasty.
This child not only has the qualities of a Hufflepuff, but also has the qualities of a Gryffindor.
After being surprised, Dumbledore smiled.
"A spell to drive away darkness and protect yourself and others?"
"Of course I can. It's a bit of a boast. I'm probably one of the best wizards in the world at this."
"Originally there is a spell called the Patronus, which meets your requirements, but the Patronus Charm is still too advanced for a child who has not yet entered school."
"How about this, I will first teach you another spell that is very effective against dark creatures and dark wizards. Once you have learned it, I will teach you the Patronus Charm."
"It will be a little difficult at first, but don't be discouraged. Keep practicing. In about a semester, I believe you will be able to learn it with your British-famous mind."
Then Dumbledore waved the Elder Wand.
Charles immediately felt as if an invisible area was spreading from Dumbledore's body, bringing with it a warm and holy feeling.
In this realm, all evil seems unable to approach and will be expelled.
Dumbledore explained.
"This spell is called the Exorcist Spell. It was originally used to target the evil magic of dark creatures and dark wizards. Later, some wizards developed the Muggle Exorcist Spell based on it."
"After the creation of the Patronus Charm, the Exorcism Charm was rarely used."
"But no matter what, the Exorcism Spell is still a very effective spell against dark creatures and dark wizards, and the threshold for mastering it is lower."
Immediately, Dumbledore explained to Charles how to correctly recite the spell of the Exorcism Spell and how to wave the wand.
After a while, seeing Charles still in deep thought, Dumbledore smiled.
"Okay, Ciel, this spell is not something a first-year wizard can learn in a short time."
"Come with me, I'll take you to Diagon Alley to buy some things you need..."
When Dumbledore stood up and prepared to leave, Charles showed a strange expression on his face.
Is it difficult to learn in a short time?
Need a semester?
Headmaster Dumbledore, that only means you don't quite understand what cheating is.
The next moment, Ciel whispered in his mind.
"Deep Blue, deduce the banishing spell."
