Chapter 30: Hufflepuff Prophecy

Chapter 30: Hufflepuff Prophecy

"That's probably what happened."

In the hall of Hogwarts, Hermione held an owl and told Bruce what happened in the Potions class today.

Ever since he learned that Hermione had no friends in Gryffindor, Bruce decided to study with Hermione after school.

"So how's Harry?" Bruce asked.

"It's back to normal," said Hermione. "Ron is taking him around the school looking for the Weasley twins. I heard they were the ones who did the prank."

No, not them.

Bruce glanced at the owl Hermione was holding, which was the culprit.

Katum was very proud of himself. It was obvious that everything that happened in the Potions class was a good show for him.

"What are you looking at!"

The owl said, "Our story is not over yet. If you apologize to me now, I will forgive you."

Bruce curled his lips, ignored Katum, and asked Hermione a key question instead.

"What happens after that? I mean, now that Harry has turned back into a boy, will Snape still treat him the same way as before?"

"I don't know." Hermione shook her head. "But Harry has a very favorable impression of Snape now. He's even looking forward to the next Potions class."

"Good luck to him then."

After that, Bruce stopped paying attention to this issue.

Since nothing serious had happened and Harry seemed to be enjoying it, there was no need for him to clarify the truth.

The study time passed quickly.

"It's getting late, you should go back and rest early."

Bruce put away his book and prepared to go back to the Hufflepuff common room.

Katoom jumped from Hermione's arms and landed on Bruce's head. The man and the bird ignored each other and returned to their previous way of getting along.

Hermione was helpless. She had fed Katum so many snacks today, but this guy still ran away without looking back.

You have to raise an owl yourself from a young age!

"Okay, see you tomorrow!"

……

When Bruce turned a corner and was about to reach the lounge, a figure suddenly blocked his way.

It's Snape.

"Good evening, Wayne." Snape still had that pretentious tone, "I didn't expect to meet you."

Then he saw the strange shape of an owl on Bruce's head. The corners of his mouth twitched a few times, but he held back and did not laugh out loud, maintaining his image.

Is that just right?

Bruce didn't expose it. Weren't you the one who specifically blocked me at the door of the Hufflepuff common room?

Snape asked, "Have you finished your paper on Polyjuice Potion?"

Bruce frowned, "Professor, I remember the deadline is next Monday, and today is only Friday."

"I know."

Snape said coldly, "But I want to see it today, isn't it okay?"

Why? You won't live to see Monday?

Bruce wanted to ask this, but finally changed his tone: "I'm done, Professor."

It's just a paper, easy enough. Bruce's original main plan was to make Snape drink the mutant Polyjuice Potion on Monday.

He took the paper out of his bag and handed it to Snape.

Snape took it, glanced through it quickly, and then sneered: "I knew it!"

what do you know?

Snape raised his head and looked at Bruce: "Wayne, Harry turned into a girl today. You made that potion, right?"

not me!

Bruce felt that it was a great injustice. Why should he be blamed for all the good things Katum had done?

But he couldn't say it out loud. No one would believe him if he told others that his owl could brew potions.

Excluding these factors, Bruce was not surprised as to why Snape suspected him.

This gender-changing potion was an improvement on Snape's original potion idea.

After he examined Harry, he would soon realize the nature of the potion.

Snape's self-proclaimed genius can only be associated with another genius.

Besides, Bruce was recently writing a paper on Polyjuice Potion.

"Professor, I..."

Bruce tried to defend himself, but was interrupted by Snape.

"I don't care about anything else. Just rewrite this paper. As long as you write out the formula for that potion, I can consider giving Hufflepuff an extra 50 points."

With that, Snape strode away as if he had never been there.

Bruce was really full of questions at this time. Can't you figure out such a simple improvement idea yourself?

"He's probably afraid something might go wrong." Katum above his head said at the right time, "He's afraid that the potion he developed won't be able to turn Harry into a little red-haired girl."

Bruce asked back, "Why is Snape obsessed with the little red-haired girl?"

"Don't eat this kind of melon. It has nothing to do with you."

Katum changed the subject smoothly, "Are you going to hand over the formula? It's fifty points!"

"It doesn't matter whether you hand it over or not. The formula is useless."

Bruce said casually, "My Hufflepuff classmates are very nice to me, so there's nothing wrong with helping them win the House Cup."

"Forget about winning the House Cup." Katum said, "Gryffindor has already been chosen as the champion this year."

Even if you add more points, Deng can always find a few excuses to get them back.

"Why?" Bruce frowned, "Is there such an unfair thing happening inside Hogwarts?"

"Hey, don't take it so seriously. There's no real reward for being the champion. You're still a champion even if you call yourself one!"

Katum started talking nonsense again, "Or they are the champions, and you can strive for the vice-championship, that's fine too!"

"I do not know what you're talking about."

Bruce shook his head, nearly shaking Katoom off his head, and walked into the Hufflepuff common room.

"Don't be so serious. Are you still angry about what happened before?"

Katum finally gave in and said, "Well, I have reflected on yourself for you these days. You haven't developed a flexible bottom line yet, so it's normal that you can't understand my behavior.

"Let's put it this way! You're wrong this time, I apologize!"

Bruce almost laughed out of anger.

You finish everything, then just apologize and everything is over?

Who did you learn this from!

Bruce really wanted to continue arguing with Katum about whose problem it was this time.

However, just as he entered the lounge, someone suddenly called him.

"Are you a Hufflepuff student?"

Bruce turned around suddenly and found that the lounge was empty.

Who is speaking!?

He got goosebumps and looked around the common room. Suddenly he realized that the portrait of the Hufflepuff lady, which was no longer able to move, was looking at him quietly.

The expression on Ms. Helga's face could no longer be simply described as worried.

It was fear, a fear that was extremely contagious.

"Go tell your principal!"

The Hufflepuff portrait trembled and said, "The end of Hogwarts is coming. From the beginning to the end, from yesterday to tomorrow, the shadows of the three Dark Lords will cover the entire castle!"
